The “Fashion to Reconnect” exhibition, inspired by the new dynamic balance of Michelangelo Pistoletto's Terzo Paradiso, offers clothes and fashion objects as works of art, which become a tool for raising awareness for responsible social change. Designers, entrepreneurs, brands and artists reconnect with nature to create a harmonious relationship, where the choice of materials, processes and the change in perception of creation itself become the driving force behind a virtuous transformation of fashion. The garments - selected by Cittadellarte Fashion BEST in collaboration with CNMI and with the curatorship of Tiziano Guardini - are made as unique pieces and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity just like any work of art. In Fashion to Reconnect the designers/artists become sensitive creators of a new civilization in which the dialogue between opposites and between different species are the basis for creation and invite us on a meditative journey towards clothing as the first home to inhabit, the home choice in which to feel reconnected. Eco Contract + Eco Design - a national and international leader in the production of materials and coverings that boast the most severe international certifications in environmental terms - after having 'signed' the carpet of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Milan for years, collaborates with the Pistoletto Foundation for contribute to making the Arte al Centro exhibition even more 'green'. The textile flooring is made from 100% recycled yarn, recovering nylon waste, such as the recovery of fishing nets, which represents a tenth of the waste in the oceans. The yarns are regenerated and regenerable this allows them to be incorporated into a closed loop system where they can be converted again and again into new yarns.
