Black Box House
This is an unconventional space.
Exhibition space built in house, the Black box is both a living space for a
lovely couple in their 40s and an exhibition
space for the art curator to exhibit her clients' works.
The main functions of the house are fitted into a black box that constitutes the
main element of the house. All
remaining movable furniture units are placed around it. Upon entry, the main
unit wall serves as a background for
a screen on which visual artists can play their works.
To the right, a walkthrough of the exhibition area consisted
of the doors of the black box, the central Jean Nouvel dining table and the
panels situated on the windows.
To the right is a collection of art books belonging to our art curator and also
displayed for everyone to browse
through.
The couple enjoys a house filled with light even with
its functions being conceived into one unit. The library includes hidden doors
which when open along with the sliding
doors, create corridors between the two parts
of the house.
